Belgium beyond expectations

Between the 1st of May and the 31st of October 2010, 70 to 80 million people will visit the pavilions of the more than 200 countries and organisations participating in the Shanghai Expo, a record number in the more than 150-year history of the World Expo.

This book tells the story of the Belgian EU pavilion that has earned a very worthy place at the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai. This is also the story of a strong team of promoters, architects, project coordinators, scenographers and managers who took on the challenge of realising a project in less than a year, in a fascinating country with a culture that is worlds apart from our own.
